Tuesday Tech Question presented by Evans Coolant

Question:

I have a slightly modified Snowmobile that I run at my local NHRA track in the motorcycle class.  I wanted to know if I could add a small nitrous oxide system to my sled?  I don’t believe it will run any quicker than 10.20 in the ¼-mile with nitrous.

Answer:

It is permitted for you to add a commercially available nitrous oxide system to your E.T. Snowmobile.  Commercially available, thermostatically controlled, blanket-type warmer accepted.  Any other external heating of bottle(s) prohibited.
