Statement of Action Against Participants

At the 2026 NHRA Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance at Route 66 Raceway, Jordan Vandergriff made his Q2 run with a parachute pin installed rendering that parachute inoperable.  This violation resulted in a disqualification of his Q2 run and a monetary fine of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500).

At the Lucas Oil event at Firebird Raceway, May 15 – 17, 2026, Brenda Biscay’s entry was found to have loose ballast.  This violation resulted in disqualification from the event, zero points awarded, and the event counting against his total number of eligible scored events for the season.

At the same event, Travis DeLeve was found to have improper safety equipment.  This violation resulted in a disqualification of his E2 run.

At the Lucas Oil event at the Texas Motorplex, May 16 – 17, 2026, Betsy Peek recorded a run quicker than the 6.000-second index limit for Top Dragster.  This violation resulted in disqualification from the event, zero points awarded, and the event counting against their total number of eligible scored events for the season.

At the same event, Tyler Wells was observed not to be abiding by the proper use of safety equipment.  This violation resulted in an official warning on the matter.  Any future incidents of this nature will result in disciplinary action.
