The following action has been taken against JR Gray for violating the rules pertaining to the System Air Pressure Switch during E4 of the Supergrip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. Gray’s E4 run was disqualified. Due to the DQ, his round win was forfeited with Kris Thorne being reinstated as the race winner. This infraction also carries a fine of $5000. The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari and is appealable. 73046

NHRA Technical Department Makes Parity Adjustment Changes to the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown
Based on the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago, IL, the NHRA Technical Department is increasing the supercharger overdrive by changing the upper supercharger pulley for the 2019 Ford Cobra Jet 327 from 3.750 inches to 3.625 inches for the aluminum block; 3.875 inches to 3.750 inch for the iron block.
