Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series categories originally scheduled to compete at the 2020 NHRA Southern Nationals at Commerce, Georgia will now take place as part of the completion of the Amalie Motor Oil Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway on June 5-7.

All LODRS category entrants for the Virginia NHRA Nationals will have the entry fee credited to their account for use at a future NHRA national event.

All LODRS category entrants for the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals will have the entry fee credited to their account for use at a future NHRA national event.

In consideration of the COVID-19 global pandemic, NHRA officials announced today revisions to the 2020 Mello Yello Drag Racing Series schedule. The series is tentatively planned to resume June 5-7 with the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway. The season will conclude with the crowning of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series champions November 13-15 at the Auto Club Finals at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona.

The NHRA has disqualified Richard Mace from the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals for violating NHRA Rules. During the technical inspection process of Richard’s stock eliminator entry, it was discovered the throttle body was modified. This decision is not appealable and prior to competing at the next event the throttle body must be in compliance with the 2020 NHRA Rulebook. 71795

Following the recent announcement postponing the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals many of you inquired about your entry for the event. Once a date has been announced NHRA will adjust the process to align with event dates. You do not need to withdraw from the event unless you cannot make the rescheduled event once new date is announced. In the meantime, if you need to withdraw the site will remain open and the entry fee will be applied as a credit towards your acc

NHRA officials announced today for the 2020 season the SAMTECH.EDU NHRA Factory Stock Showdown category will change how competitors are paired for eliminations.
