Tuesday Tech Question presented by Evans Coolant
Question: I am just finishing up my street roadster to compete in bracket races at my local NHRA Member Track. Am I required to wear arm restraints in this new car? Answer: The NHRA requires the use of arm restraints in all open-bodied cars that run 11.99 (7.49 in the 1/8 mile) or quicker. Since your car is a street roadster, it is considered open-bodied and therefore will require arm restraints if you run at the speeds listed above. 69654
