Question: Am I allowed to install a dry-sump oil system on my 1969 Camaro SS/CA car? I know that there are some other Super Stock combinations that allow a dry-sump, but I am not sure if I am one of those combinations. Answer: No you are not. As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the Toyota NHRA Sonoma National event, the following change has been made. Question: I had a Technical Inspector tell me that, even though they were dated the same year, my 3.2A/15 fire suit was expired, but my 38.1 head and neck restraint was still legal. I’ve heard that new rules allow me to use the tachometer built-in to my delay box. Is this rumor true? If so, are there any other rules I need to keep in mind when using this feature? Answer: Yes, what you have heard is true. Racers may now connect their delay box to the ignition system and utilize built-in tachometers and RPM switches. As a result of the permit issued by King County Hearing Examiner for the upcoming NHRA Northwest Nationals, stacking will begin Wednesday, August 2nd at 7:00 AM for sportsman teams. When the stack lot opens, teams need to proceed to the main entrance of Pacific Raceways where officials will guide you to the stack lot (Parking Lot C).

Question: I am just finishing up my street roadster to compete in bracket races at my local NHRA Member Track. Am I required to wear arm restraints in this new car? Answer: The NHRA requires the use of arm restraints in all open-bodied cars that run 11.99 (7.49 in the 1/8 mile) or quicker.
