The local NHRA Tech Inspector said I need to make my passenger door operative from the outside on my Super Pro Camaro. Is that true for their track only or all NHRA tracks? Answer: That is true for any NHRA track. You would need to follow the 2017 NHRA Rulebook section 20, page 31, Interior: 6, 6.1 Drivers Compartment. Horsepower adjustments following the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals event in Gainesville, FL

Conley Named North Central Division Director
Jeff Conley has been named as NHRA’s North Central Division Director (Division 3). The North Central Division includes tracks in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and is home to four NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events. Conley began working with the North Central division in 2007 as a member of the certification team.

I am putting a roll bar in my daily driver so that I am able to meet the safety requirements at the speed I am running. Being a daily driver, can the rear crossbar be bolted in so that I can still have good access to the back seat? Answer: No, the cross bar may not be bolted in. Super Stock and Stock Class – Qualifying Attempt Required
All super stock and stock competitors must have made a valid qualifying attempt prior to round one of class eliminations to be placed on the ladder for class eliminations. I’m running a low eight second Super Pro dragster and I would like to use a head and neck restraint system. I was told I would still need to use my neck collar. Is this correct?
