The following Stock/Super Stock horsepower changes were released December 18, 2015 produced by the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS). This is the second of two scheduled horsepower adjustments for this year. All changes are effective January 1, 2016. NHRA announced today that the 2016 NHRA Jr. Drag Racing Western Conference Finals and Eastern Conference Finals will be held at Osage Tulsa Raceway Park in Tulsa, Okla., and Bristol Dragway in Tennessee, respectively.

Tucson Dragway, in Tucson, Ariz., has joined the NHRA Member Track Network as part of Division 7, the Pacific Division.

NHRA Officials announced today that they have added a sixth event to the 2016 Southeast Division NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series schedule. The event will be a second event at Atlanta Dragway forming a double-header weekend March 31-April 3, 2016.

Bringing NHRA into an exciting new television era, officials from NHRA and FOX Sports today announced the members of the broadcast team that will cover the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series for FOX Sports. This system will be mandatory on all cars participating in the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Pro Stock category. Bolstering its initiative to increase sportsman participation, NHRA is announcing changes for Competition Eliminator beginning in 2016. Changes are being made to the Competition Index Control system that was originally introduced in the eliminator in 1990.
