The following action has been taken against Jesse Fritts regarding an incident that occurred during the Division 3 Divisional at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Fritts has been fined two-thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) for doing a transbrake test in the staging lanes. This violates Warm-up rules as found in the 2025 NHRA Rulebook. The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. The fine is appealable. 73202

Candido Mesa was disqualified from the Division 7 Divisional 7-1 at Firebird Motorsports Park February 20-21, 2025 for bypassing the scales and fuel check following his first round win in Competition Eliminator. Mr. Mesa will also forfeit all points accumulated and the race will count towards his quota. 73170

All NHRA National and Divisional events will utilize the following lane choice procedures: In Competition Eliminator, the driver with the better qualifying position gets first-round lane choice, and in subsequent rounds, the lane choice goes to the driver with the lowest elapsed time from the previous round (in relation to his or her index used for qualifying).
