AMALIE Motor Oil is proud to announce our continued support of the National Hot Rod Association contingency programs with postings over $410,000 across many of the NHRA racing series. Eligible racers will continue to have the opportunity to earn contingency awards from both the Motor Oil and Transmission Fluid categories. Specific contingency decals for each of the category postings are available at the AMALIE midway trailer at each NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event

The NHRA has denied products claimed on contingency forms submitted by Jeff Hairrington. During a review, it was discovered the product decals were counterfeit. In addition to denying the product claimed, Jeff has been suspended from the program for the next two contingency opportunities. This is a direct contingency awards sections of the 2019 NHRA Rulebook. 71655

The NHRA has denied contingency claims made by Ryan Herem, Dale Maher, and Russ Parkerfor violating NHRA Contingency Program Rules. In separate incidences, the required contingency decals were not present on the race vehicles of Herem (Sonoma race), Maher (Denver race), and Parker (Seattle race) prior to the first round of eliminations, which is a direct violation of NHRA Rules, particularly Section 1.11 Contingency Awards of the 2019 NHRA Rulebook.
