Aug. 7, 2024 The NHRA Technical department wants to remind Stock and Super Stock competitors the use of coolers, chillers, ECT. are prohibited outside your pit. General Regulations 1.5 Fuel/Air: Any method of artificially cooling or heating fuel prohibited (i.e., cool cans, Freon, wet rags, etc.), except as noted in Class Requirements. NHRA Technical Department Makes Parity Adjustment to NHRA Mission Foods Pro Stock Motorcycle
Based on Pro Stock Motorcycle performance data, the NHRA Technical Department has made the following parity changes. These rule changes will go into effect immediately. NHRA reserves the right in the future to make additional rule changes to control performance and maintain parity in the category. NHRA Super Stock rules clarification: Inner fender panel modifications
/30/2024 The 2024 Rulebook states: "Alteration to shock or spring towers prohibited." (BODY:7, Fender Splash Pans, Section 12A page 9). In order to maintain a stock appearance, the entire shock tower and inner fender panel area may not be modified with bubbles, dimples, humps, bumps, lumps, or tubs. NHRA U.S. Nationals Stock and Super Stock Runs Excluded From Automatic Horsepower Factoring System
NHRA has announced that the Automatic Horsepower Factoring system will not be used during this year’s NHRA U.S. Nationals. Based on the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago, IL, the NHRA Technical Department is increasing the supercharger overdrive by changing the upper supercharger pulley for the 2019 Ford Cobra Jet 327 from 3.750 inches to 3.625 inches for the aluminum block; 3.875 inches to 3.750 inch for the iron block.
