2022 End of Year Stock, Super Stock Horsepower Adjustments Announced

Horsepower Adjustments – From Competitor Requests
The NHRA Technical Department released Horsepower changes December 7, 2022 after review and evaluation of written requests from Lucas Oil Sportsman Series competitors. All changes are effective January 1, 2023. Only those requests received by November 15, 2022 were considered during this scheduled evaluation. NHRA Technical Department Makes Parity Adjustment to NHRA Camping World Pro Stock Motorcycle
Based on Pro Stock Motorcycle performance data, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the minimum weight of the 4-valve Suzuki up to 113 CID entries from 630 pounds to 625 pounds. All other minimum weights will remain the same. This rule change will go into effect immediately. NHRA reserves the right in the future to make additional rule changes to control performance and maintain parity in the category. 72687

Horsepower adjustments following the Lucas Oil NHRA Division 7 events in Las Vegas, NV
11/7/2022 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Division 7 events, the following change has been made. Jeff Connelly was disqualified in his Top Dragster from the second event of the LODRS Doubleheader Event at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madsion, Illinois. Jeff made a pass in the first round of eliminations in the second event of the doubleheader at 5.984 seconds.
