Based on the Constant Aviation NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the first 5 races of the 2022 season, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the 2019 Cobra Jet 327 supercharger overdrive by changing the upper supercharger pulley from 3.625 inches to 3.750 inches These rule changes will go into effect immediately. NHRA has announced that the Automatic Horsepower Factoring system will not be used during this year’s Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals. As a result, runs made by Stock and Super Stock competitors at any time during the event will not count towards class averages, nor will they be used to trigger index or horsepower adjustments. This decision was reached as the result of competitor requests and multiple conversations with members of the Stock and Super Stock Sportsman

6/7/2022 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Divisional event, the following changes have been made. Based on Pro Stock Motorcycle performance data, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the minimum weight of the 2-valve Suzuki up to 107 CID entries from 590 pounds to 580 pounds and the 2-valve Suzuki up to 113 CID from 600 pounds to 590 pounds. All other minimum weights will remain the same. This rule change will go into effect immediately. NHRA reserves the right in the future to make additional rule changes to control performance and maintain parity in the category.
