10/19/2021 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Divisional event, the following change has been made. The horsepower rating for 1977 Ford Mustang, entries with the 302 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 122/137 currently rated at 141, has been increased by five horsepower, to 146 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator. NHRA's 2021 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.

10/12/2021 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Divisional event, the following change has been made. The index for SS/VX 11.60 has been decreased by 0.15-seconds to 11.45. NHRA's 2021 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-seconds or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective October 12, 2021. 72

The following action has been taken against Rick Hord regarding the non-removal of the fire bottle safety pin prior to his run in his Pro Modified entry during qualifications at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, IN during the 2021 Dodge/SRT NHRA U.S. Nationals, September 1-5, 2021. Hord’s qualifying run was disqualified and he has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500). The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. 72336
