The following action has been taken against Khalid Al Balooshi regarding the non-removal of the fire bottle safety pin prior to his run during qualifications at the Dodge//SRT Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, CO.. Al Balooshi’s qualifying run was disqualified and he has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500). The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. 72287

The NHRA Tech Department has fined John Force Racing $10,000 for making unauthorized modifications to an approved part. It was discovered that injector hats had been altered from their original state. The fine must be paid in full before being allowed to participate at any future NHRA events. . 72275

The NHRA Technical Department has released the latest version of the 2021 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series Rulebook Supplement. The only changes made were to permit the FIA 8860-2010, FIA 8860-2015 and FIA 8860-2018 helmets as an additional option to the helmets already permitted by the rulebook supplement. NHRA Technical Department Makes Adjustments To The Automatic Horsepower Factoring System Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) The AHFS is used to review and evaluate runs in Stock and Super Stock for possible horsepower adjustments. The review for factor INCREASES adjustments is conducted twice once per racing season. The two reviews are conducted individually. Data in the 1st review segment is not used for reviews in the 2nd segment and visa-versa. The review for f
