The NHRA Technical Department has released an update to the previously posted announcement regarding the 22nd Annual Route 66 NHRA Nationals JEGS Allstars.
The following categories will not be required to remove a head prior to Technical inspection but will need to go through the P&G and technical inspection process: Super Stock Modified and Super Stock Modified Stock. On Wednesday May 29th, all participants in the Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, and Stock categories participating in the JEGS Allstars are required to complete Technical Inspection and should come to the event with one cylinder head removed and ready for inspection. NHRA Technical Department Makes Parity Adjustment to the SAMTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock Showdown
Based on SAMTech.edu NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the first two races of the 2019 season, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the supercharger overdrive of the 2019 COPO 350 combination by (5.4) percent from (142.9) percent to (137.5) percent. Based on Pro Stock Motorcycle performance numbers from the last portion of the 2018 season through the first race of the 2019 season, the NHRA Technical Department is increasing the minimum weight of the Harley Davidson, Victory, EBR and Buell motorcycles from 625 pounds to 640 pounds.
