This is the scheduled horsepower adjustment for this year. All changes are effective January 1, 2026. It should be noted that these changes include only results produced by the AHFS, and do not include written letters or requests. Those changes are listed separately. The NHRA Technical Department released Horsepower changes December 9, 2025 after review and evaluation of written requests from Lucas Oil Sportsman Series competitors. All changes are effective January 1, 2026. Only those requests received by November 18, 2025 were considered during this scheduled evaluation. At the 2025 Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway, Isaiah Banks displayed behavior that was unacceptable and violated the 2025 NHRA Rulebook.
