School of Automotive Machinists & Technology NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Rules and Procedures
At the seven School of Automotive Machinists & Technology NHRA Factory Stock Showdown events to be held in 2018, competitors will qualify and compete in their own separate eliminator from Stock. Fields at all events will be expanded to (16) cars. Those not qualifying will not be permitted to run in the Stock eliminator as in past years. The SAM Tech NHRA Factory Stock Showdown qualifiers will be competing for the NHRA Wally trophy, event champion’s jacket and an event purse.

Horsepower adjustments following the NHRA Toyota Nationals event in Las Vegas, NV
10/31/2017 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the Las Vegas event, the following change has been made.
