I’m finishing up my Super Pro Mustang, and one of my racing buddies said he did not think I could use a ball-lock pin in my parachute mount. Is he correct? Answer: Your racing buddy is correct. The use of ball-lock pins for parachute mounting is prohibited. Instead, parachutes must have their own independent mounting with sleeved 3/8-inch minimum steel bolts or steel pins. 69362

I am putting a roll bar in my daily driver so that I am able to meet the safety requirements at the speed I am running. Being a daily driver, can the rear crossbar be bolted in so that I can still have good access to the back seat? Answer: No, the cross bar may not be bolted in. I’m running a low eight second Super Pro dragster and I would like to use a head and neck restraint system. I was told I would still need to use my neck collar. Is this correct? But I'm planning on 1" OD chromoly, so my question is do I still need to use .065" wall thickness or can I use .058" wall thickness?
