2015 Factory Stock Showdown Rules
NHRA Technical Department announces rules for the 2015 Factory Stock Showdown. In addition to these rules, the cars must also meet all requirements as outlined in the 2015 NHRA Rulebook. The competition includes entries from two Stock Eliminator classes with each class running as a separate category within Stock Class Eliminations, and a winner being crowned in each. The two winners will then square off for the NHRA Factory Stock Showdown Championship using a handicapped star

Horsepower adjustments following the LODRS Division 3 event in St. Louis, MO
As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals event, the following change has been made. Competition Numbers
The Technical Department has recently received several complaints from fans concerning their inability to read the competition numbers of their favorite drivers. These complaints are not just directed at professional categories but also all sportsman categories. Tampering With NHRA-Specified Fuels
As a reminder to all racers, tampering with NHRA-Specified fuels is prohibited. Tampering includes, but is not limited to, adding other chemicals or fuels to an NHRA-Specified fuel. Penalties for tampering with an NHRA-Specified fuel may result in a disqualification from an event and in addition could also include a monetary fine, loss of points, and suspension from NHRA competition. 63754

Technical Infraction - Traction Control
The NHRA disqualified a Rodney Benson from the 2015 NHRA Kansas Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka for violating NHRA Rules, particularly Section 20, page 36 of the 2015 NHRA Rulebook under Ignition. Tech inspectors discovered a traction control devise was installed.
