The NHRA Technical Department released Horsepower changes December 16, 2024 after review and evaluation of written requests from Lucas Oil Sportsman Series competitors. All changes are effective January 1, 2025. Only those requests received by November 19, 2024 were considered during this scheduled evaluation. The following action has been taken against Scott Palmer regarding missing clutch bellhousing hardware that occurred on November 1, 2024, during Q2 of the Ford Performance NHRA Nationals. Palmer has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500) and the run was disqualified. The fine is appealable. 73134
