NHRA participants, fans, and others planning to attend the Auto Club NHRA Finals, Nov. 11-14, to witness the dramatic crowning of the 2021 NHRA world champions in Pomona will NOT be subject to vaccine verification or proof of negative COVID test due to voluntary capacity limitations imposed by the NHRA.

Due to events happening at LVMS prior to the Dodge SRT Nationals there will be no early arrival holding or stacking lot. Please do not arrive prior to Tuesday October 26, 2021 as you will not be allowed access to the property.

The following action has been taken against Richard Freeman and Josh Hart regarding an altercation that occurred between Freeman’s and Hart’s teams during the Texas NHRA FallNationals at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, October 7-10, 2021. As a result of the incident, Freeman and Hart have both been fined ten thousand dollars ($10,000). The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. 10/19/2021 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Divisional event, the following change has been made. The horsepower rating for 1977 Ford Mustang, entries with the 302 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 122/137 currently rated at 141, has been increased by five horsepower, to 146 horsepower: for Stock Eliminator. 10/12/2021 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the NHRA Divisional event, the following change has been made. The index for SS/VX 11.60 has been decreased by 0.15-seconds to 11.45. NHRA's 2021 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-seconds or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective October 12, 2021. 72
