I am just finishing up my ’41 Willys Top Sportsman car. I noticed that some cars in the class have beadlock wheels and others do not. What kind of wheels do I need to purchase? Answer: If you plan to run 6.50 or quicker or 210 mph or faster you will need to have SFI Spec 15.1 wheels. These wheels must either be beadlocks or have liners. I am building an Advanced E.T. dragster that I plan to run at my local NHRA Member Track. This new car will have a screw-type supercharge on it. The supercharger is certified to SFI Spec 34.1. Brainerd Intl Raceway’s Lucas Oil Thunder at the Lakes Competitor Parking will begin Thursday, August 11th at 10:00 AM. **COMPETITORS CAMPING/STAYING FOR NHRA LUCAS OIL NATIONALS** Plan to park in the same spot for the duration of both the division & national events. Anyone camping/staying on property Monday & Tuesday (Aug. 15-16) for the Lucas Oil Nationals will be charged $10 per person per day. I am just finishing up my Street Roadster that I plan to compete with in your Super Gas category. Since this body does not have any place for taillights, do I still need to have one? Answer: Many classes, such as Super Gas, do not require the vehicle to have factory taillights, but that does not mean that you do not need one.
