NHRA Pro Mod and Lucas Oil Competitors,
As a result of the increased number of entries for this weekend’s event in Houston and the entry numbers being less than the field size, Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car and Competition Eliminator will receive only two qualifying sessions.
In addition, the live TV broadcast of the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series semi-finals and finals will result in a modified schedule for Sunday. Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Mod 2nd round of eliminations will be contested Sunday morning prior to pre-race ceremonies, with final rounds being contested before the Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle semi-finals.
