Hot Rod Heritage Series Oil Down Policy
NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series Oildown Policy

Policy applies to all Heritage Series contestants – in all classes:

1. First  Oildown Offense at Event:  Time for run is void for qualifying purposes.  If offense occurs during eliminations, driver will receive credit for the win, but time will be void for lane choice and run sequence considerations

2. Second Oildown Offense at Same Event:  Time for run is void for qualifying purposes.  If offense occurs during eliminations, driver will receive credit for the win, but times will be void for lane choice and run sequence considerations.

3.Third Oildown Offense at Same Event:  Competitor is disqualified from event – regardless if occurring in qualifying or eliminations – including final round of eliminations.

Any team experiencing chronic problems with oildowns at HRHS events will continue to be reviewed by NHRA, and further action may be taken.
