NHRA tech department clarifies recent horsepower adjustments

The NHRA Technical department recently adjusted the factored horsepower on several GM Super Stock GT combinations, and Ford Stock and Super Stock combinations. These adjustments were made due to clerical errors from previous AHFS adjustments; these recent adjustments are not part of the AHFS mid or end of year adjustments. To better explain the changes, one example was the 99-04 346 305-350 in SS/GT, factored anywhere from 305 to 324 horsepower. All of these combinations are identical and have been corrected to a factored horsepower of 324.
