Pre-race Technical Inspection Rule Violations Can Result in Penalties

During pre-race technical inspections at several of our 2014 events, the NHRA Technical Department has noticed an increase in illegal ballast installations and the use of fake batteries as well as other rule violations. As a reminder to all racers, anytime during an event, from the beginning of pre-race technical inspection until the conclusion of post-race technical inspection, racers found to be violating any rules can be, at a minimum, subject to disqualification from the event. Additional penalties can also be applied if warranted
