The NHRA imposed a ten thousand ($10,000) fine against Randy Meyer for violating NHRA Rules, particularly Section 13, page 10 of the 2014 NHRA Rulebook under Shutoff Device.  Tech inspectors discovered the shutoff device had been disconnected thus leaving it inoperable.  In addition to the monetary fine, Randy has been disqualified from Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.  The monetary fine is appealable, as outlined in Section 1, pages 17-24 of the 2014 NHRA Rulebook.
