The NHRA Technical Department has released an update to the previously posted announcement regarding the 22nd Annual Route 66 NHRA Nationals JEGS Allstars.

The following categories will not be required to remove a head prior to Technical inspection but will need to go through the P&G and technical inspection process: Super Stock Modified and Super Stock Modified Stock. In Super Stock Modified Stock where an OEM production or aftermarket cast iron head is utilized (1) cylinder head will need to be removed for inspection.  Additionally, Stock Eliminator and remaining Super Stock classes will also need to come with (1) head off:  The aforementioned categories will need to report to the Tech Services trailer for Technical Inspection on Wednesday May 29th.

Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car categories will also need to have (1) cylinder head removed for inspection. Competition Eliminator will need to go through the P&G and technical inspection processes.   Both the Alcohol categories and Competition Eliminator Tech Inspections will be performed in your pits.

Technical inspections will begin at 9:00 am CT and be performed on a first come first serviced basis.
