“We certainly missed the presence of our sportsman racers at the first part of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals,” said Bill Bader, track owner and operator. “The support and understanding from the NHRA community has been inspiring and we are excited to complete this event and crown our champions.”

In addition to winning the coveted Wally for this National Event, competitors who land in the winners circle will also receive a special ice cream scoop – a treasured trophy unique to the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals. Summit Racing Equipment is also providing each winner with a $200 gift card. Runners-up will receive a $100 gift card.

“Sportsman racing is at the core of our business,” said Jim Greenleaf, motorsports and events manager for Summit Racing Equipment. “We were disappointed not to have some of those categories competing in June at the first portion of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, but we understand and respect the decision made by the track. We look forward to seeing all of these valued competitors in September.”
