Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) The AHFS is used to review and evaluate runs in Stock and Super Stock for possible horsepower adjustments. The review for factor adjustments is conducted once per racing season. The NHRA Technical Department released Horsepower changes December 9, 2025 after review and evaluation of written requests from Lucas Oil Sportsman Series competitors. All changes are effective January 1, 2026. Only those requests received by November 18, 2025 were considered during this scheduled evaluation.
