For the first time, Factory Stock Showdown will be contested 4-wide at both the Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Naitonals. Four qualifying sessions starting on Friday. Link: 4-wide 101 Video 72181

The following action has been taken against Steven Densham regarding their disabled parachute system at the completion of his run during qualifications at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, NV.. Steven Densham’s qualifying run was disqualified and he has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500). The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. 72507

As a reminder to all NHRA racers, all certifications for 2010 SFI and Snell helmets expired on 12/31/2021. Consequently, SFI and Snell helmets bearing a 2010 certification tag are no longer permitted. Additionally, beginning 1/1/2022, all parachute pilot chutes used in Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, Top Fuel and Funny Car must be made of a bright color, not black, to be visible on the racing surface if detached from the main chute. 72408

Milan Dragway is the latest addition to the NHRA Member Track Network. Located in Milan, Mich., the track is co-owned and operated by Perry Merlo and Harold Bullock.

Entry is now open for the Las Vegas LODRS double set for April 7-10. Event schedule will see Top Alcohol categories qualify Friday and race Saturday. All other classes will qualify Thursday, race Friday, qualify Saturday (with some eliminations possible that evening), and race Sunday. Class eliminations for Super Stock will take place on Saturday.

The only change made since the last update was to include Docol R8 where chromoly is used.
