After review, it has been verified by NHRA that one of the winners from the NHRA Kansas Nationals placed contingency decals on their vehicle after the first round of eliminations began and prior to the final round of competition. This action violates Section 1.11 CONTINGENCY AWARDS of the 2015 NHRA Rulebook which states, “Decals placed on vehicles once eliminations have begun will not be granted verification”.
