SAM TECH FACTORY STOCK SHOWDOWN 2018 CONTINGENCY

The 2018 School of Automotive Machinists & Technology Factory Stock Showdown kicks off at Gainesville Raceway, March 15-18 during the Amalie NHRA Gatornationals.

Several new product and sponsor postings have been add for the seven race series with each event winner and runner up receiving $300 and $100 respectively from posting sponsors. To be eligible, racers must adhere to all NHRA Contingency rules and guidelines as well as meet any additional requirements set forth by the posting sponsor. All sponsors require use of posted product and display of posted product decal beginning with the first round of eliminations.

All seven events will run in conjunction with the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series national events including the prestigious Chevrolet Performance US Nationals in Indianapolis. New for 2018 are stops in Bristol, Tenn., and Dallas. Returning to the 2018 schedule will be Gainesville, Fla., Charlotte, N.C., Norwalk, Ohio, Indianapolis and Madison, Ill.
