The following Stock/Super Stock horsepower changes were released December 12, 2023 produced by the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS). This is the scheduled horsepower adjustment for this year. All changes are effective January 1, 2024. The NHRA Technical Department released Horsepower changes December 12, 2023 after review and evaluation of written requests from Lucas Oil Sportsman Series competitors. All changes are effective January 1, 2024. Only those requests received by November 14, 2023 were considered during this scheduled evaluation. The following action has been taken against J.R. Todd for violating the rules pertaining to maximum header width during Q4 of the NHRA Nevada Nationals. Todd’s Q4 run was disqualified. 72900

Del Holbrook was disqualified in his Factory Stock Showdown entry for violating the rules pertaining to superchargers during the Texas NHRA Nationals held October 12-15, 2023. This disqualification is not appealable. 72891

Ryan McClanahan was disqualified in his Super Stock entry for violating the rules pertaining to vehicle wheelbase during the Texas NHRA Nationals held October 12-15, 2023. This disqualification is not appealable. 72888

Based on the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the Texas NHRA Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex in Dallas, TX, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the supercharger overdrive by changing the upper supercharger pulley for the 2019-2023 Chevrolet COPO from 3.250 inches to 3.375 inches. The following action has been taken against Paul Nero regarding an incident that occurred during an D7 LODRS at Famoso Dragstrip. Nero has been fined three thousand ($3,000) for making physical contact with a track official. This violates Participant Conduct rules as found in the 2023 NHRA Rulebook. The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. The fine is appealable. 72886
