Based on the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the first 2 races of the 2023 season, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the supercharger overdrive by changing the upper supercharger pulley for the 2019-2020, 2022-2023 Chevrolet COPO 350 from 3.125 inches to 3.250 inches. Based on the FLEXJET NHRA Factory Stock Showdown performance numbers from the first 2 races of the 2023 season, the NHRA Technical Department is reducing the minimum weight for the 2019 Ford Cobra Jet 327 by 50 pounds, from 3575 to 3525. This rule change will go into effect immediately. NHRA reserves the right in the future to make additional rule changes to control performance and maintain parity in the category. 72790

Tim Wilson was disqualified and fined $1,000 for having his fire bottles and one of his parachutes pinned while making a pass with his Top Sportsman entry during E1 of the Thunder Valley Raceway Park LODRS. 4/24/2023 As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.30-second under policy at the NHRA Division 2 event, the following change has been made. NHRA has announced that the Automatic Horsepower Factoring system will not be used during this year’s Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals. As a result, runs made by Stock and Super Stock competitors at any time during the event will not count towards class averages, nor will they be used to trigger index or horsepower adjustments. The following action has been taken against Tim Wilkerson regarding an incident that occurred during the NHRA Arizona Nationals. A member of Tim Wilkerson Racing shoved an NHRA official during Q1. As a result, Wilkerson has been fined five thousand dollars ($5000) for violation of the Participant Conduct policies outlined in the 2023 NHRA Rulebook.
