Question: Is my Super Comp dragster required to have a rear wing? I know it is required in Top Dragster, but I am unsure about the rule for Super Comp. Dragster Dan Answer: Dragster Dan, You are not required to have a wing on a Super Comp car. In Top Dragster, all cars running in excess of 200 MPH are required to have a rear wing. Question: I am getting together a new Competition Eliminator car that I plan to run in C/D. My hopes are that the car will run in the 6.8 second range at over 200 mph. NHRA Technical Department Announces Parity Adjustment for NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series
In the continuing effort to maintain parity in the NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, the NHRA Technical Department is increasing the minimum weight for nitrous-assisted entries from 2,425 pounds to 2,475 pounds. The minimum weight for turbocharged entries will remain at 2,650 pounds while the minimum weight for supercharged entries will remain at 2,600 pounds. I am looking to upgrade the wheels before I start racing the car. My question is, am I required to run beadlocks when I run Top Sportsman?
