EV Junior Dragster Technical Safety Bulletin

It has been brought to the attention of the Nhra Tech department that some electric juniors were wired with substandard power cables from the battery packs to the electric motors. This issue posts a potential fire danger and needs to be corrected immediately.  

The power cable that may have been installed is part # SGR SAE J1127 (60V)

The correct power cable needs to meet or exceed part number SGT SAE J1127 (600V)

Please contact your builder or battery manufacture for replacement.
