Horsepower adjustments following the NHRA Gatornationals event in Gainesville, FL

As the result of runs under the Automatic Horsepower Factoring System (AHFS) 1.20-second under policy at the Gatornationals event, the following changes have been made.

 

The horsepower rating for 09-10 Dodge Drag Pak, entries with the 360 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 275 currently rated at 317, has been increased by eleven horsepower, to 328 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

 

The horsepower rating for 1986 Chevrolet C-10 truck, entries with the 350 cubic inch engine and a factory rating of 165 currently rated at 165, has been increased by eight horsepower, to 173 horsepower; for Stock Eliminator.

 

The index for Super Stock entries with an index currently at 13.85, has been decreased by 0.20 seconds, to 13.65; for SS/GS.

 

NHRA's 2013 Automatic Horsepower Factoring System outlines that any run of 1.20-seconds or more under the index will receive an immediate index decrease or horsepower increase. These changes are effective March 19, 2013.
