Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series to Compete 4-Wide in Charlotte

NHRA officials announced today the Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series will be contested 4-wide during and field size will be expanded to 16 at the NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

At the NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals the Mickey Thompson Tires NHRA Top Fuel Harley Drag Racing Series category will be contested 4-wide during qualifying and eliminations.  The 4-wide structure is consistent with other heads up categories during the event.  Qualifying will be expanded to 4 sessions and all 3 rounds of eliminations will be contested on Sunday.  

Points will be awarded as follows: Winner-100; Runner-Up-80; Semi-Finals-60; Second Round-40; First Round-20.
