NHRA Releases 2025 Rulebook Amendment Updates

The NHRA Technical Department has released additional 2025 Rule Amendments. Unless otherwise noted in this document, these additional amendments will come into effect immediately. The 2025 NHRA Rulebook Amendments can be found under Tech, then Rules on NHRARacer.com.

• Section 2, Race Procedures, Lane Choice – Lane Choice procedures updated

• Section 18, Funny Car, Drivetrain, Rear End – Beginning April 1st, 2025, rear end containment required on Strange L7400 and L7200 rear ends

• Section 19, Top Fuel Dragster, Drivetrain, Rear End – Beginning March 1st, 2025, rear end containment required on Strange L7400 and L7200 rear ends
