NHRA Releases 2025 Rulebook Amendment Updates

The NHRA Technical Department has released additional 2025 Rule Amendments. Unless otherwise noted in this document, these additional amendments will come into effect immediately. The 2025 NHRA Rulebook Amendments can be found under Tech, then Rules on NHRARacer.com.

• Section 5C, E.T. Motorcycle, Engine, Page 14 – Starting clarification.  See Electrical, Starter for starter/starting requirements.

• Section 18, Funny Car, Drivetrain, Rearend, Page 6 - DRE (ISMP-750 bag with CMH-250 cover) added to accepted rearend containment system

• Section 19, Top Fuel Dragster, Drivetrain, Rearend, Page 6 - DRE (ISMP-750 bag with CMH-250 cover) added to accepted rearend containment system
