NHRA Releases 2025 Rulebook Amendment Updates

The NHRA Technical Department has released additional 2025 Rule Amendments. Unless otherwise noted in this document, these additional amendments will come into effect immediately. The 2025 NHRA Rulebook Amendments can be found under Tech, then Rules on NHRARacer.com.

• Section 6, Pro Mod, Engine, Induction, Page 2 – Centrifugal supercharged limited to 11,000 rpm

• Section 10, Super Comp, Designation, Page 1 – Rear-engine dragsters updated to “Dragsters” for front-engine motorcycle-powered dragsters

• Section 18, Funny Car, Designation, Page 1 – Path to NHRA Component Acceptance Process included

• Section 19, Top Fuel Dragster, Designation, Page 1 – Path to NHRA Component Acceptance Process included
