The NHRA disqualified Derek Purvis from the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Houston Raceway Park for violating the elapse time policy in Top Dragster.  During Eliminations Derek Purvis ran 5.991.  In addition to being disqualified from the event. Derek Purvis will receive 0 points from the event, which will be charged as 1 of the driver's 8 eligible divisional or 5 eligible national scored events for the current season.
