Statement of Action Against Participant

Jim Campbell was fined $2,500 for not having his parachutes properly attached while making a pass with his Funny Car entry during Q1 of the Lucas Oil Nationals event at Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, MN. This infraction resulted in both parachutes coming off the car when they were deployed at the end of the run. The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. The fine is appealable.
