The following action has been taken against Steve Matusek regarding the non-removal of the fire bottle safety pin prior to his run during eliminations at Lucas Oil Raceway that occurred on September 6, 2020 during the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA U.S. Nationals. Matusek has been fined Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($2,500). The fine will be dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of the Safety Safari. This action is appealable.
