Statement of Action Against Participants – 10/12/26
At an NHRA member track event at Toronto Motorsports Park, Anthony D’Aversa was found to have a vehicle with a counterfeit NHRA chassis certification tag. As a result, D’Aversa was disqualified from the event, suspended from competition at NHRA sanctioned events and NHRA member track events for one year, fined twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500), and must successfully complete a chassis inspection prior to participating in a future NHRA event.
At the 2026 Lucas Oil event at World Wide Technology Raceway, David Jordan (LO37) and Robert Churchill (LO38) each recorded an elapsed time quicker than 6.000 seconds in Top Dragster, in violation of the Top Sportsman/Top Dragster Index Enforcement Policy. As a result, both Jordan and Churchill were disqualified from the event, will receive zero points, and the event will be charged as one of their eligible scored events for the 2026 season.
