The NHRA has denied the contingency verification form submitted by Trey Vetter for the Pacific Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, May 18-20, 2018. During a review, it was discovered that contingency decals were placed on his race vehicle after the start of eliminations which is a direct violation of the contingency program and the 2018 NHRA Rulebook Section 1.11 Contingency Awards.
