I have a 1967 Camaro and compete in the NHRA’s Stock category.  Is it legal like to replace the old original driver’s seat with modern racing type seat?

Per the 2013 NHRA Rule Book SECTION 10: STOCK CARS, INTERIOR: 6, UPHOLSTERY (Page 9), it states “Full-size aftermarket or corporate OEM front seats permitted; must be upholstered and supported. Driver and passenger side seats must be identical in appearance. “
