I have a supercharged 23-T Altered that I will be running in Quick 8 at my local NHRA track and some NHRA Top Dragster.  I was told that I will need a flame-retardant seat covering.

Answer:

You are correct.  All front-engine open-bodied vehicles supercharged or turbocharged burning gas or alcohol must have a flame-retardant material-covered seat.
