Question:
I’m having trouble fitting my SFI 30.1 flexplate shield to my dragster. Can I trim the metal to make it fit my car?
Answer:
No you are not allowed to modify an SFI product. On page 3 of the General Regulations the second paragraph it states “Under no circumstances may any certified product be modified, altered, or in any way vary from the “as manufactured” condition.”
